The Fuse ODG casting call African Caribbean women announcement is now live. Moreover, this one feels deeply intentional. The British-Ghanaian artist pioneered contemporary Afropop in the mid-2010s. His anthems ‘Antenna’ and ‘Azonto’ became global hits. Now, he is putting together a powerful visual shoot. It takes place in London on Sunday, 8 March 2026. The brief is simple: celebrate the unity of African and Caribbean nations. He wants to capture that through energy, presence, and movement.

What They Are Looking For
Fuse ODG seeks confident, vibrant Black women for this project. Specifically, he wants participants to represent their countries through culture and self-expression. Importantly, you do not need dance experience. Instead, just bring comfort in expressing yourself and moving to music. Above all, own your culture with pride. To apply, simply email odgcasting@gmail.com. Include your name, the country you want to represent, and your social media handle.
Why This Matters — Beyond the Shoot
For years, Fuse ODG has championed African identity in the UK music scene. His TINA (This Is New Africa) movement started the conversation. Then, his decision to turn down Band Aid 30 showed conviction. On top of that, his educational platform School of New Africa expanded the mission further. Consequently, everything he does points to an artist who thinks far beyond the music. This casting call, therefore, extends that ethos into the visual space. It creates room for Black women to celebrate their heritage on camera.
The timing also matters. 8 March falls on International Women’s Day. As a result, the project carries an extra layer of significance. It is already rooted in empowerment and representation. So if you are in London, consider applying. Likewise, if you know someone who should take part, spread the word. Applications are open now. Together, let us create history, unity, and legacy.
