Uncle Waffles is taking amapiano to the circus. Megan Thee Stallion has named the DJ and producer as the special guest for this year’s Hottieween, the rapper’s annual Halloween party, which takes over Zouk Nightclub at Resorts World Las Vegas on Friday, 30 October.
Megan announced the booking on Instagram with typical energy: “THEE CIRCUS IS ALMOST HERE HOTTIES!! 🎪🔥 #HOTTIEWEEN THIS FRIDAY WITH SPECIAL GUEST @unclewaffffles!!! 🎃🎃 Get your last minute tickets now & experience a real hottie party with me 💋” Uncle Waffles reposted it on X within hours. “We shutting down Vegas with my Queeen 💋❤️ 🎪,” she wrote, IOL reported.
Thee Circus, with Cirque du Soleil
Hottieween has moved around over the years, with earlier editions in Chicago and Megan’s hometown of Houston, and this year it lands on the Las Vegas Strip. She has gone big for it. The 2026 theme is “Thee Circus,” with Megan billing herself as the ringleader, and she has partnered with Cirque du Soleil for the night. “I’m teaming up with Cirque du Soleil and taking Hottieween to a whole other dimension,” she wrote when she first announced the event in early October, Hip-Hop Vibe reported.
The party runs from 9 p.m. to 3 a.m. and is strictly 21 and over. General admission has been listed at roughly $125 to $175, with table packages starting at a minimum spend of $10,000, and part of the proceeds goes to Megan’s Pete and Thomas Foundation, named after her late parents. Costumes are expected, and with a circus theme, ringmasters, acrobats and clowns will be everywhere.

Why it is a natural fit
On paper, a Houston rapper and an amapiano DJ might look like an odd pairing. In practice, it makes sense. Both artists are built around performance and personality, and both have fanbases that treat their shows as events. Bona described the collaboration as a natural fit given the two artists’ “expressive styles and feminine personalities,” and South African fans online agreed. “GUYS MEGAN THEE STALLION IS COLLABINH WITH UNCLE WAFFLES FOR THE HOTTIEWEEN OMG,” one wrote on X, while others joked about their jealousy at not being able to make the trip.
Uncle Waffles, born Lungelihle Zwane in Eswatini and raised in South Africa, has spent five years building exactly this kind of crossover profile. Her viral 2021 set at Soweto’s Zone 6 Venue drew a co-sign from Drake and launched a run that has taken her to Coachella, EDC, Brooklyn Mirage and London’s Roundhouse. She has also become a fixture of the fashion world, attending Louis Vuitton’s menswear shows during Paris Fashion Week, and was recently pictured with Kelvin Momo and Drake at the rapper’s NOCTA Manor.
What she brings to Hottieween is the dancefloor. Her sets mix amapiano with choreography, with her own dance moves behind the decks often as much a part of the show as the music. In a Las Vegas club built for hip-hop and EDM, that gives Megan’s guests something new, and it gives amapiano another high-profile night in front of an American audience that is still discovering the sound.
It also caps a busy year. In August, Uncle Waffles joined Focalistic and ShaunMusiq on “2 Spin Jikeleza,” a dance record with a choreography-led video, and earlier this month she closed another international season with a message to fans: “To my supporters, I am bc of you.” On Friday, she will be saying it to a room full of hotties.
