Lojay is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, and producer, widely regarded as the rising star of Afrobeats. He gained recognition in 2021 with the EP LV N ATTN, a collaboration with producer Sarz, which launched his career thanks to the hit single “Monalisa”.
The song went double platinum in Nigeria and was later remixed with Chris Brown, reaching #8 on the Billboard U.S. Afrobeats Songs Chart in 2022.
In 2023, he featured on Chris Brown’s track “Sensational”, alongside Davido, which debuted on the Billboard Hot 100.
That same year, Lojay released the EP Gangster Romantic, blending Afrobeats and R&B sounds.
He was named an “Africa Rising” artist by Apple Music in 2023, highlighting his growing influence on the global music scene.
With over 500 million streams on Spotify, Lojay continues to establish himself as a major figure in afro-fusion music.
